As the Senior Manager of ITSS Internal Audit and Compliance, you will lead IT audits, assessing the adequacy and effectiveness of controls over critical information systems throughout the company. You will assess the effectiveness and efficiency of operations, reliability of financial reporting, appropriateness of risk management activities, and compliance with applicable laws and regulations. What you'll do on a typical day:

  • Work individually or as part of a team to lead and perform integrated and IT internal audits in accordance with standards and expectations
  • Execute and supervise the activities throughout the audit process, including: performing research, planning and scoping; conducting interviews and walkthroughs; identifying key risks and controls; drafting flowcharts and/or narratives, gathering evidence and performing testing; preparing and reviewing audit work papers; discussing and clearly articulating findings, observations and related risks with auditees throughout the process
  • Draft thoughtful and persuasive written internal audit reports and memos that clearly articulate the scope, objectives, issues, risk, root cause, and recommendations for remediation
  • Identify opportunities and utilize data analytics techniques where appropriate to evaluate large and complex populations of data
  • Assist with issue follow-up through check-ins with the business on progress and validate effective remediation through testing
  • Provide management and oversight for all IT compliance activities such as SOX, DCAA, and ISO
  • Coordinate all internal and external IT audit and IT compliance activities, such as SOX and DCAA
  • Responsible for revision, consolidation, and expansion of compliance frameworks as environment changes; develop risk management strategies

What you need to succeed at XPO:

At a minimum, you'll need:

  • Bachelor's degree in Information Systems, Computer Science or related field
  • 10 years of proven experience with IT Audit and Compliance in a medium to large organization
  • Proven ability to create and maintain effective documentation, including audit reports and evidence collection Excellent understanding of audit standards and compliance standards
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills

It'd be great if you also have:

  • Expert-level user of Windows applications and Microsoft Office Suite (MS Project, Word, Excel and PowerPoint)
