For serious consideration, please email Charles at Charles.Galantirht.com Performs and analyzes routine compliance assessments and provides general compliance support within an assigned business unit or vendor relationship. Leads initiatives of varying scope and complexity and serves as a compliance subject matter expert and point of escalation. Oversees the gap management processes and tools for inventory and reporting. Serves as the point of escalation for customer compliance requests. Resolves or recommends solutions to mitigate or remediate discovered gaps. Balances vendor and internal resources to identify, monitor, and resolve identified risks. Lead efforts internally and with NMS vendor partners to foster a culture of compliance. May lead and direct the work of others. Essential Duties and Responsibilities Compliance and Enterprise Risk Management Leads the development, implementation, and management of the Compliance Program creation and updating of procedures documenting these (covering various vendor and internal reviews, risk questionnaires (SIG), assessment, monitoring and managing outcome). Recommends and implements enhancements to existing programs, policies and procedures, as required. Identifies and implements related controls and processes. Informs management of emerging risks, non-compliance exposure and mitigation efforts, and potential rule violations and related liability through escalation protocols, presentations, and routine reporting. Leads andor participates in compliance initiatives or special projects as assigned, and as appropriate, supports implementation at the business unit level. Oversees the gap management processes and presents findings andor completed projects amongst the departments. Routinely interacts with Sr. Management on compliance risk trends, industry best practices and in formulating or assessing business risk appetite. Gains buy-in from team members and colleagues to coordinate workflow, escalations, and risk mitigation for identified gaps and compliance concerns. Routinely interacts with and provides support to Data Furnisher clients in response to compliance inquiries. Teamwork Promotes the Governance, Risk and Compliance team's programs through socializing risk concepts and initiatives, training and routinely involving Sr. Management, team members and co-workers. Fosters open communication amongst team and peers to complete objectives and goals, including dashboard reporting, regular dialog, and early notification of emerging risks. Oversees the internal Risk, Compliance and Security Awareness Training Program. Project Management and Vendor Management (Program Oversight) Collaborates with subject matter experts to develop policies, processes, frameworks and tools to support the Project Management and Vendor Management programs. JD-Risk Compliance Analyst III 2 Develops and manages Vendor Dashboard reporting and horizontal views of trends, performance, and recommendations on best practices. Performs internal assessments to validate compliance with the Project Management and Vendor Management programs? standards, report findings to senior management and participate in the escalation and remediation of key deficiencies. Associate's or bachelor's degree in technology or equivalent experience 4-6 years of experience in information security, audit, risk management and compliance related area Certification Required CISA, ABCP Certification Preferred CBCP, CBCA, ARMP, CISSP, CRVPM, CTPRP, CIA The above cited certifications are industry recognized standards of achievement representing knowledge in specific subject matter. Other combination of experience, education, certification and or trainings may be applicable to the position outlined herein and may waive specific requirements listed above. Skills Desired Familiarity and experience implementing Governance, Risk, Compliance programs, practices, and principles Concepts, practices and procedures of financial industry compliance reviews. Rules and regulations of the Financial Industry Regulatory Authority (FINRA) and state securities regulatory agencies andor Federal Deposit Insurance Corporation (FDIC) Office of the Comptroller of the Currency (OCC) Federal Financial Institutions Examination Council (FFIEC) Consumer Financial Protection Bureau (CFPB) and federal copyright law as they relate to the use of computer software.
